Deep embodiment is a body-based, somatic methodology that takes you from stuck /sick to empowered healing
If you’re committed to your own healing and personal transformation, you’ve probably done the “right” things to take back your health and find balance: therapy, doctors, medication, meditation, breath work, diet etc.
But while those treatments can be effective, they’re often not enough to address the full spectrum of your chronic physical and/or emotional issues. If you’re still struggling despite doing all of the “right” things, there’s a good chance the missing piece is embodiment—the ability to perceive and work with the emotional, physical and energetic sensations produced by the body.

Long-term emotional and physical issues are often the result of unprocessed past experiences (including trauma) that cause chronic physical and emotional stress in the body.
In this course, you’ll learn how to connect with your body to uncover, express and heal these subconscious wounds at the root of your symptoms—I call this Deep Embodiment.
Experience less distraction and overwhelm, and feel more ease and freedom

An increasing number of people are experiencing emotional and/or physical health issues that won’t heal. In some cases, their doctors can’t find the root cause of their illness. Others spend years in therapy struggling with the same issues. And many people find that when one symptom recedes, a completely different one pops up.

We’re taught that healing happens through the mind—through thinking, acquiring knowledge and following the guidance of experts. But the root cause of chronic physical and emotional health issues are often powerful, unexpressed feelings from the past.
And feelings can’t be healed through thinking, learning—or by anyone else.
Even with body-based practices like yoga, breath work or dietary changes, people rarely learn how to let the body take the lead. Instead, they’re taught to make the body do what the mind wants.

But, your mind doesn’t know what you need to heal. It doesn’t realize what’s actually keeping you stuck in old patterns of health, thoughts and behaviors.
The good news? Your body does.
Your body knows what’s at the root of your health struggles. It knows the subconscious wounds are keeping you stuck in your past (the body keeps the score!) and it knows how to heal them.
In this course, you’ll learn to quiet the mind and let the body take the lead, revealing the root cause of your health struggles and activating the body’s innate, built-in processes for healing you emotionally and physically.

Deep embodiment connects you to to your own vast somatic wisdom. It unlocks your body’s innate processes for revealing, expressing and healing the wounds that are keeping you stuck.
As the saying goes, you have to feel it to heal it. When learn to receive the emotional, physical and energetic sensations produced by your body, your body will heal you.

HERE ARE 4 REASONS PEOPLE FAIL TO FEEL BETTER
1. The Wellness industry tells us we need to rely on expensive in-demand experts, niche treatments, innovative technology or esoteric practices.
In reality, the only person who can heal you is you—and you have everything you need right now.
Healing happens when you integrate the body and mind, and allow the wisdom of your body to guide you. It’s not a skill you need to acquire, it’s reclaiming what’s been there all along.
2. We’ve been conditioned to believe our struggles are our fault, and that shame prevents us from looking directly at the feelings and unprocessed wounds at the root of our suffering.
When you’ve been taught that your symptoms are your fault, the internalized shame makes the symptoms (and the wounds beneath them) threatening and too overwhelming to face directly. With deep embodiment, the body becomes a space that is free of conditioning—free of blame, shame and the judgement of others. Instead, you find truth, wisdom and innate worth, which allows you to process your feelings and experiences with confidence and self-compassion.
3. When our symptoms feel like obstacles, we want them go away as fast as possible. But that haste—that desperation and mistrust—is actually what keeps us stuck.
When you give steady, direct attention to your symptoms— through feeling rather than thinking—you can discover, express and heal their root cause. When you allow the body to lead, the obstacles in your life become your most powerful tools for healing.
4. We push away the signals from our bodies because we think that, if we let our feelings come to the surface, we’ll be overtaken by them: we’re afraid we’ll fall apart and lose control in our lives.
In fact, the body is wise and will never give you anything you’re not ready for. And the sensations in your body are never as frightening as the stories your mind creates about them. FAQ’s
I’ve tried many types of meditation and I never stick with them—what makes somatic meditation different ?
With somatic meditation, you’re in an ever-unfolding dialogue with the physical, emotional and energetic sensations produced by your body. Many people who struggle with traditional meditation (including those with ADHD) find this methodology to be exciting, engaging and effective. I’ve seen both beginners and advanced meditators have great results with somatic meditation.
What if I can’t make all the live classes? Is taking the course still worth it?
Attending all of the live classes is ideal, but it’s ok if you’re unable to make one or two. All live classes will be recorded and made available for later viewing.
Do you offer refunds if I need to cancel my enrollment?
Though I understand circumstances can change, I do not offer refunds once enrollment has closed (December 19th 2023)
How many hours per week should I dedicate to this course?
When it comes to transformation, consistently is key. Ideally you can attend every live class (90 minutes per week), practice the at-home meditations once per day (20-30 minutes per day), and utilize the daily awareness practices a few times per day (5 minutes per day). But life happens and it’s ok if you miss a day of meditation from time to time.
If I am new to meditation, is this course for me?
The meditations in this program are great for meditators of all levels, including beginners. Whether this course is for you depends on if the course elements and my overall message speaks to you. If you’re not sure, see the section below titled “This product is for you if…”
What are the minimum requirements for this course?
To benefit from this course, you should be able and willing to attend all of the live classes (missing one or two is ok, but not ideal), practice the at-home guided meditations at least 5-7 times a week, and utilize the daily awareness practices at least once a day. There will also be optional journal prompts for personal reflection.
You should also currently be in therapy or have a long history of receiving helpful therapeutic support. Additional support in the form of a coach, acupuncturist, doctor, healer, mentor etc. is always a good thing. This work is designed to explore previously suppressed emotional and physical experiences, so having a good healing team in place can be extremely helpful.
How do I know if this course is not a good fit for me?
Consistency is the key to lasting transformation, so this course is not for you if you don’t have the time to commit to the live classes and at-home practices (see the question above about the time commitment).
This course is not for you if you have limited experience in therapy, or if you’ve found that therapy hasn’t been helpful for you. A basic tools one learns in therapy will be essential in this course. We’ll be exploring previously suppressed emotional and physical experiences, so I do not recommend this course unless you currently have sufficient support from one or more of the following: Therapist, mentor, coach, doctor, acupuncturist, healer etc.

How will I receive the materials for the course (meditations, practices and recordings) each week?
The live classes will be held on Zoom. The meditations, practices and recordings will be on the course portal via Notion. I will provide a tutorial on navigating Notion and the course portal during our first class.
